I’m Miss Ann, a passionate baker who kicked off my culinary journey at the tender age of 8. My cooking adventures began with an Easy Bake Oven on the kitchen counter next to my mother’s oven in our Tulsa, Oklahoma home. Whether I was using the counter or my mother’s oven, one constant remained—the dedication my mother had to serving delicious and healthy home-cooked meals to our family, friends, and the community. My mother, my ultimate role model, imparted invaluable advice, insisting that the presentation of food should match its delectable taste. Her words, “Ann, make sure that the food looks like you want it to taste and tastes as good as it looks,” stuck with me. She always emphasized that people appreciate not only good-tasting food but also food that looks appealing.

Fueled by this wisdom and my intense passion for cooking, I took the plunge and started my own catering business, Ultimate Catering Services, back in 1993—a venture that continues to thrive.

In 2007, I expanded my culinary horizons with the launch of Miss Ann’s Gourmet Collection, a business that has stood strong for 15 years and counting. The nickname “Miss Ann” was affectionately given to me by my uncle Charles, who observed my prim and proper demeanor even at a young age. Today, as I reflect on my culinary journey, I appreciate the inspiration and direction that originated in my mother’s kitchen, shaping the success of Miss Ann’s Gourmet Collection, Ultimate Catering Services, and Miss Ann’s Publications—collectively constituting Miss Ann’s Enterprises, LLC.
